Limitations are often seen as hindrances. I consider limitations to be beneficial in many cases, as they help narrow focus and increase productivity. Especially if those limits are self-imposed.


Identifying Limitations

Before I explain just how self-imposed limitations can improve your work, and before I tell you how you can create self-imposed limitations, I’m going to teach you how to identify preexisting limitations.

Deadlines are probably the most common limitation.

Deadlines restrict the amount of time you have to work on a project, which restricts the amount of time each step of the project takes, to varying degrees.
