Inktober is an event that takes place each October, and it’s a challenge to draw an ink piece every day of the month.
This year I’m taking it on, and I’m following the prompt list created by Djamila Knopf. She’s one of my favorite artists, and she’s created a botanical witches prompt list this year.
Instead of doing botanical witches, I’m doing botanical portraits, and the first one is Lavender.
I had a lot of fun with this piece, and did a lot of experimentation to figure out where I wanted this illustration to go, and I’m very pleased with the results!
