Inktober Day 2 – Rosemary

Here’s my piece for the 2nd day of Inktober:

I’m following the botanical witches prompt list by Djamila Knopf, except instead of specifically witches, I’m doing botanical portraiture.

While some of my portraits for this month are surreal or fantastical, I decided to keep this one grounded more in reality, hence why there are no extra eyes on the face, or plants growing out of the skull.

This piece was quite fun because it was my first time doing a 3/4 view face in awhile, and that’s my favorite angle for faces.
