How to Determine Your Kibbe Body Type

This post is now outdated. For a newer version of the test, check out my 2020 version.

The Kibbe Body Types are a series of 13 body types, which are broken down into 5 families: romantics, classics, dramatics, naturals, and gamines. If you want to learn more about these types, check out my post An Overview of the Kibbe Body Types.

What I like about the Kibbe body types is that the clothing, makeup, and hair suggestions for each type aren’t trying to ‘correct’ things like in other body typing systems. Instead the suggestions are lines and silhouettes that coordinate with your body.

If you’re interested in this system, this post is a small test that will let you figure out your Kibbe body type. This test is largely based off of the one from Kibbe’s book Metamorphosis, but I have made a couple of changes for clarity’s sake.

To start, you need to be able to analyze your own body. If possible, take a picture of yourself in a swimsuit or underwear, and make sure that you’re standing straight, and that the camera is neither too high nor too low (around chest-level works well).

If you’re not comfortable taking a picture of yourself, then you can use a mirror for this test. I slightly prefer a mirror myself, since sometimes a camera’s lens can cause distortion, and it can be difficult to take a picture of oneself without anyone else helping.

Now that you’ve seen your body, it’s time to start the test.

Make sure you have a piece of paper where you can write down your answers to each question. Also, please make sure that you write down which section each answer is for! Even better is if you can write down which question each answer is for, but I understand if you’re not comfortable doing that.

For example, something like this will work well:
Bone Structure: 3B 1A
Flesh: 4D 1B
Facial Features: 2D 2E 2B

Instead of this:
1A 6B 6D 2E

That way, if you need help figuring out what your body type is, I can help you more easily. It will also help you figure things out if you’re confused between two or more body types.

Also, please choose the answer that best describes your body. Our bodies are more on a spectrum than in discreet shapes, so not every answer will fit perfectly, especially if you’re young and your body is still changing.

First we’ll start with the overall bone structure.

Overall Bone Structure.

1. How long is your vertical line?

Another way to ask is this, is how tall do you look? If you have a small head compared to your shoulders, you will look taller. If you have a large head compared to your shoulders, you will look shorter.

My vertical line is:

A) Long (I look taller than I actually am)
B) Moderately long (I look like I’m slightly taller than I actually am, but not by very much)
C) Moderate (I look to be my actual height)
D) Smallish (I look slightly shorter than my actual height)
E) Petite (I look shorter than I actually am)

2. What’s the shape of your shoulders?

Be careful about your posture when answering this question, as slouching can change the silhouette of your shoulders.

My shoulders are:

A) Sharp, narrow
B) Blunt, broad
C) Moderate, even
D) Sloped, tapered (can be a bit sharp, but still sloped)
E) Sloped, rounded

3. How long do your arms and legs look in comparison to your body?

This is in proportion to your body, specifically your torso. Even if you’re short, you can still have long legs or arms compared to your torso, and vice versa. If you’re not sure how to check this, just put your arms to the sides of your body, and see how far down your thigh your fingertips end.

Answer C will end at about the halfway length of your thighs, so if you have shorter arms, you’re answer E or D, if you have longer arms, you’re answer A or B.

Make sure to relax your arms while doing this, as stretching them out will make them seem longer than they are.

My arms and legs are:

A) Elongated, narrow
B) Elongated, broad
C) Moderate, even in proportion to my height and torso
D) Small, slightly short
E) Small, very short in proportion to my height and torso

4. What are the size and shape of your hands and feet in comparison to the rest of your body?

My hands and feet are:

A) Long, narrow
B) Large, broad
C) Moderate, neither very large nor very small
D) Small, narrow, delicate
E) Small, slightly wide

Next we have the flesh on your body. Please note, that body fat doesn’t effect this answer. This is about the overall look of your flesh, your skin and muscles.

As an example as to why: some people have very soft and puffy cheeks, even when underweight. Other people have very tight skin on their cheekbones, even when overweight.

If you’re still curious about this, here’s a video that explains why body fat doesn’t effect your Kibbe body type. It’s by Merriam Style, one of my favorite ‘Kibbe Body Types’ YouTubers, and she has wonderful content that analyzes all the different body types.

Flesh on the Body.

5. What’s the overall shape of your body?

This question takes into account both how your torso, waist, and hips look, and also the general look of your arms and legs. We’ll be getting into some specifics soon though, so if you’re confused by this question, try returning to it after doing the next few questions.

The overall shape of my body is:

A) Long, lean, dry
B) Broad, tending toward muscular
C) Moderate, even
D) Shapely, a delicate hourglass
E) Very soft, lushly curved, a ripe hourglass

6. What’s the shape of your bust line, or upper torso?

This question refers to the shape of the bust, and also includes some descriptions for gaining weight, since some body types gain flesh here easily. The actual cup size of your bra doesn’t matter here, since the bust line is relative to the shape of your body.

The overall shape of my bust line is:

A) Flat, taut (I never seem to add flesh here, even when overweight)
B) Wide, broad (I add a little flesh here when overweight, but not very much)
C) Moderate, in even proportion to my waist and hips
D) Shapely, curved, more prominent then my waistline (I tend to add flesh here when overweight)
E) Very prominent (whether I’m thin or heavy, I’m always busty)

7. What’s the shape of your waistline?

Again, this question is in proportion to the bust and hips.

The overall shape of my waistline is:

A) Elongated, but boyishly tapered (even when overweight)
B) Elongated, but broad
C) Moderate, slightly defined
D) Very small in proportion to my bust and hips
E) Softly defined, but tends to be slightly wide

8. What’s the overall shape of your hips?

Like the last two questions, this question is in proportion to the rest of your body.

The overall shape of my hips is:

A) Tapered, straight, narrow (but I do thicken here when overweight)
B) Straight, slightly tapered, and slightly wide (weight collects on the hips)
C) Moderate, in even proportion to my bust and waist
D) Shapely and rounded, more pronounced then my waistline
E) Extremely soft and rounded (whatever my weight is)

9. What best describes the flesh on your upper arms and thighs?

One good way to test this is to feel the flesh on your upper arms and thighs. I work out almost every day and I’m very thin, but my flesh is still squishy and soft, therefore I have answer D flesh.

The flesh on my upper arms and thighs are:

A) Long, slender, sinewy
B) Elongated, tending towards muscular
C) Moderate
D) Soft, slightly short
E) Very soft, slightly wide and fleshy

Now we have the facial features. Make sure that you aren’t wearing heavy makeup that would interfere with seeing the shape of facial features, such as contouring, or overly lined lips.

Facial Features.

10. What’s the shape of your jawline?

My jawline is:

A) Sharp, either very pointed or very square
B) Broad, blunt, slightly wide
C) Moderate, neither wide, sharp, nor rounded
D) Delicate, tapered, or slightly narrow
E) Rounded or softly wide

11. What’s the shape of your nose?

In the picture below, it may be a bit difficult to see the difference between the B option and the E option. That’s because the difference is in the bridge of the nose. B noses that broad and wide bridges, E noses have smaller and rounder bridges.

My nose is:

A) Sharp or prominent
B) Broad or blunt, on the large side
C) Moderate (not very large or small, not very rounded or sharp)
D) Delicate, tapered, narrow
E) Rounded or softly wide

12. What’s the shape of your cheekbones?

Ignore the flesh of your cheeks and look just at the shape of your cheekbones for this question. You may need to feel the bones to get your answer, especially if you have very full flesh.

My cheekbones are:

A) High and prominent
B) Wide
C) Moderate
D) Delicate, narrow, and slightly rounded
E) Rounded

13. What’s the shape of your eyes?

My eyes are:

A) Narrow, straight, closely spaced
B) Narrow, straight, widely spaced
C) Evenly spaced, moderately sized
D) Rounded or upturned, slightly close together
E) Very round and very large

14. What’s the shape of your lips?

My lips are:

A) Straight, narrow (possibly described as thin lips)
B) Straight, strong, broad (but not full)
C) Moderate, even (not very straight, but not very full)
D) Slightly full and rounded
E) Very full and very rounded

15. What best describes the flesh on your cheekbones?

Remember, this isn’t the bone itself, but the skin and muscle that covers it.

My cheeks are:

A) Flat and taut (and tend to stay tight when overweight)
B) Fairly tight or muscular, but I tend to get a bit puffy when I put on weight
C) Moderate, slightly soft
D) Soft and fleshy (gets very full with excess weight)
E) Very round and fleshy (stays round and fleshy even when thin or underweight)

Normally there is also a question about hair texture and curliness, but since hair can be manipulated so easily with curlers, straight irons, extensions, etc. I prefer to disregard this question.

Now let’s move on to the results, on the next page!

  1. Hello there, I hope I’m not to late… I’ve trying to figure this out for a while now.
    Bone structure: 2a,1b,1d
    Flesh: 3a,1b,1c
    Facial features: 3e,2d,1c
Many have told me I lean towards dramatic but I’m pretty short honestly 5,3/5,4
And it would mean a lot if you helped me, thanks so much in advance!

      1. Thanks so much Rebekah! I appreciate what you do and the time you spend helping all of us, that’s trully sweet, thank you!

  2. Hi! Can you help me define my bodt type? I’m so confused! My answers were
    Bone structure: 1b – 2c – 3c – 4c
    Flesh on teh body: 5b – 6a – 7b – 8a – 9b
    Facial features: 10c – 11c – 12c – 13c – 14d – 15c

      1. Thank you so much! I was really sure a i was a natural, because of muy shoulders, that got all confused!

  3. Hi Rebekah! I tried this out and was slightly confused since I’m classified as a Dramatic Classic by previous Kibbe tests I’ve taken, but here I’m nearly evenly split between Bs and Cs

    Bone structure: 2B 2C
    Flesh: 2B 2C 1A 1E
    Facial: 2B 1C 1A 1D 1E

Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated 🙂

    1. Thanks for commenting, Edlyn! You’re right on the cusp between dramatic classic and natural, but you lean slightly more towards natural. That being said, you can definitely pull off both N and DC lines, or a combination of the two.

      1. hey these are my results, i was wondering if you could help?
        1.B 2.B 3.B 4.B 5.B 6.B 7.C 8.B 9.B 10.B 11.B 12.E 13.E 14.C

    1 Vertical line: A (I am 5 feet and 11,5 inches)
2 Shoulders: B (They’re more sharp than blunt, but they are broad.)
    3 Arms/legs: A
    4 Hands/feet: A

    5 Overall shape: C
6 Bust line: D (I’m a double D, and even at my lower weights I look busty.)
    7 Waistline: C
    8 Hips: C
    9 Arms/thighs: D

    10 Jawline: A
    11 Nose: E
    12 Cheekbones: A
    13 Eyes: D
    14 Lips: A
    15 Cheekbone flesh: D

    FLESH: 3C, 2D

With my height, yang bone structure, yang jaw and cheekbones, and soft, yin-leaning flesh, I’m thinking Soft Dramatic? Sorry if this was superlong, I just want to give you a good picture.

  5. Hello! Can you help me? I can’t figure out my type.
    Bone structure: 2A 2B
    Flesh: 2A 3B
    Face: 3D 3E

  6. Hi! I’ve taken this test before and got the romantic body type but now taking it again I’m not too sure. So maybe you could help me out?

    Overall bone structure
My vertical line is C. (My head is a little small (my face is only 6.5 inches long) compared to my body but according to everyone I’ve asked I look like I am around my actual height (5’2))
Shoulders are C. (The circumference of my shoulders is just a tad bit smaller than my hips. And they are more rounded but not too wide.)
    Arms/legs C
    Hands E and Feet B

    Flesh on the body
    Overall shape D
    Bust line C
    Waistline C
Hips E (My hips are probably the widest part of my body)
    Arms/thighs E

    Facial features
Jawline E ( My jawline isnt really defined and its very rounded and my chin is pretty small and round. In some pictures, from the front of my face, if I lift my head up my jawline almost looks like a straight line, thats how short/small my chin is.)
    Nose E
Cheekbones E/B (it’s kinda like Lili Reinhart when she isn’t smiling and chubbier cheeks. Also my cheekbones are the widest part of my face but they’re really undefined and it looks like they’re low because of my chubby cheeks but they’re actually really high up (I think), almost close to my eyes.)
    Eyes E
Lips C (My lips are moderately plump but really narrow/short they’re only slightly wider than the width of my nose)
    Cheekbone flesh D

    Overall bone structure
    3 C’s
    1 E/B
    Flesh on the body
    2 C’s
    1 D
    2 E’s
    Facial features
    3 E’s
    1 C
    1 D
    1 E/B

  7. Hey sweetheart. Thanks so much for your effort …if you are around could you help me!?
I had 3 answers though where I wasnt sure.

I am 5 feet tall, overweight by about 25lbs. But I tend to gain weight overall, with most deposit on tummy and bum/inner thigh. …my face gets puffy. I have brown eyes, dark warm brown hair, fine thin extremely curly hair. Very smooth skin.

    I had 1 A answer
    I had 3 or 4 B answers
    I had 5 or 6 C answers
    I had 4 D answers
    I had 2 or 3 E answers

Not sure if that’s the info you’re looking for. Xoxo

  8. Hello, please help me. My result is 1.e, 2.e,3.d,4.e,5.d,6.c,7.d,8.e,9.d,10.e,11.e,12.c,13.e,14.c,15.b,16.c

  9. Thank you so much for posting this test. I’m confused about my body type. Here’s My answers:

    Bone structure:
    1D 2D 3C 4D
    Flesh on The body:
    5D 6D 7D 8D 9E
    Facial Features:
    10B 11B 12D 13A 14D 15D

I made a test once and the result was soft gamine, now it seems I am a theatrical romantic. Can You help me? Thank you!

  10. What body type would you say someone with the following results might fall into:
    A – 1
    B – 3
    C – 4
    D – 3
    E – 3

    1. Thanks for commenting Sarah! I’d say those results could be either soft classic, soft gamine, or theatrical romantic, but it depends on where they are in the bone structure. If it’s C bone structure and facial features with soft flesh -> soft classic. If it’s mixed bone structure with C flesh -> soft gamine. If it’s soft bone structure with C or mixed flesh -> theatrical romantic.

      1. Hi again Rebekah, thanks for your reply, I took the quiz again and this time recorded which letter was for which question, I hope that helps (also, I’m about 5″4)
        Bone structure: 1D, 2B, 3D, 4E,
        Flesh on the body 5B, 6A, 7C, 8A, 9D,
        Facial features 10D, 11E, 12B, 13B, 14C 15E

  11. I hope you don’t mind, if this get a bit more detailed, but I have trouble with some answeres even after consulting a friend and the example pictures here, as sometimes no answere seems to really fit.
    Bone Structure:
D,B,D,B – 3rd Question: I’d say my legs are on the shorter end, but my arms are ‘normally’ long/longer in porportion to my legs…
B,E,B,C,D,A – I’m not sure with these the most… For the jawline, the descriptions B does fit best, but I’m unsure since the picture doesn’t fit. Actually, the picture of c or e might be closer…
For the eyes…neither of the descriptions seems to fit, but by elemination I’d end up with C. My eyes are slightly smaller, downturned and don’t seem to be particulary close or widely
With the lips my problem is, that my lower lip is really full (as in the picture of D), but my upper lip is rather thin (as in the picture for C).

      1. Thanks. I’d never guessed that as it usually would requiere some a’s and includes no b’s… (Which is why I ended up as soft natural before)
But it might actually fit, so I’m gonna try that

        Liked by 1 person

  12. I’ve taken the test so many times, and some answers I just can’t figure out for the life of me:

    1) B or C (I’m 177cm and people usually think I’m 180, but I’m Danish so my height is quite common in Denmark)
    2) A or C (my shoulders are quite angular and narrow, but when I see the comparison pictures they’re not AS angular as the A answers shown). But they seem too sharp for C (but they’re not broad)
    3) A
    4) C (I’m a size 40 in shoe size but everyone thinks I’m a 38)

    Body flesh:
    5) D
    6) A
    7) C
    8) D
    9) D…? (I’m quite fleshy, even when underweight, but people think I’m thinner than I actually am. Like I’ll ask for a size 40 in clothes and people are shocked because they think I’m a size 36 or 38)

    Facial features:
    10) This one I can’t figure out. Because my cheeks are full, I can’t tell if I have a sharp jawline underneath. It’s sqarish and somewhat wide, but not as sharp as the comparison pictures. But then again, not as rounded as the D or E answers. I’d say C?
    11) I’d say A because my nose is long, but several friends have said D because it looks delicate up front (but that might be because it’s rather straight and looks smaller).
    12) C (I wish I had cheekbones haha!)

    Facial flesh:
    13) C
    14) D
    15) D/E

I have been told I look best in minimal detail and lots of details overpower me easily, which would point toward Classic, but I also feel too disproportionate (prominent hips with no boobs) to be symmetrical enough for Classic.

    Could you help me out?

    Thanks for reading!

      1. Thank you so much for replying, Rebekah! That helps me a lot (and turns out my best friend has a good eye 🙂 )

  13. Hi! Can I ask you a few questions? I have trouble responding to two of the questions in the test because I don’t seem to fit only one option!
My shoulders are definitely sloped, but also very broad (broadest part of my body), should I go for answer B or D?
In the nose question, should we look at it from the front or the side? I have an aquiline nose, looking at it from the front it looks pretty moderate I think, but from the side it looks very sharp

    Liked by 1 person

    1. Thanks for commenting with your questions!

      1. I’d probably go with answer B, since you have the width.
      2. For aquiline noses I tend to go with a bit of a sharper answer (my mom also has an aquiline nose), but if it looks moderate from the front you could regard as it as C leaning towards A (since sometimes C answers do have some lean). I have almost the opposite issue with my nose, it looks moderate from the front, but as soon as I’m seen from an angle it looks super round and kind of wide.

      1. Thank you! These are the results I got
        Overall Bone Structure: 1B 2B 3A 4E
        Flesh on Body. 5C 6B 7C 8B 9D
Facial Features: 10D 11A 12A 13E 14D 15E (decided to go for A for my nose since though it looks moderate from the front the sharpness in its side is too much to overlook I think)

        If I’m not interpreting them wrong, I’m a FG/St M?

  14. Hello Rebekah,
    BONES: 1.B, 2.B, 3.C, 4.C,

    FACE: 10.C, 11.B, 12.B, 13.E, 14.E, 15.D
What would be my body type?

  15. Hi so sorry, i did the quiz and am kinda confused about my body type. I thought its romantic but I’m not sure since the Es are spread out. Please help me with this, thank you so much 😉

    Bone structure: 1c, 2d, 3e, 4e

    shoulders: B
    arms and legs: C
    hands and feet: A
    body type: C
    Bust: A
    Waistline: D

    Eyes: A
    Lips: E
    Flesh on cheeks: E

  17. Help… I’ve gone on other boards, and based on photos others have suggested DC, N, SN, FN, D, and SD. Since I am tall, for Kibbe I would have to be only DC or FN.

    1B 2C 3C 4C
    5A or C, 6D, 7B, 8A, 9C,
    10E, 11E or C
12 D (my cheekbones are not prominent at all)
    13A, 14C, 15C
    C=6/7, B=2, A=2/3, D=2 E=1/2
Basically classic with a bunch of everything else?

I’m 5’9″, 34D bust, size 40 shoes. My head is small, and my body line is fairly straight except for bust. I am not extremely broad, but not delicate and sharp, either. I’d describe my body type as athletic. My features are small, not sharp but not heavy either, but also not symmetrical (so not very classic). I have an oblong face with a larger chin than most women. I’d say my face looks a bit childish and young, despite my age. My hair is straight and very thick.

  18. Unfortunately, I’m also confused about my results… Thank you so much! 🙂

    Bone structure: 1D, 2A, 3A, 4D

  21. Hi Rebekah ! So I took the quiz and very excited to know the results, tho I assume Iam a SN
    Bone structure
    1/c 2/b 3/c 4/b
    Iam 174 cm tall
1/C OR D(Iam overweight so idrk but I can feel the curves lol) 2/B 3/C or D (my waist is small in proportion to my hips and bust but no that small tho)4/C 5/B or C idk
This is so confusing to me since Iam overweight and sometimes can’t defferenciate between flesh and fat
    1/E 2/A 3/ BorE (my nose is wide short with a rounded tip) 4/C 5/E 6/ E
My face is diamond ; my face is wide, i have slighlty small deep set eyes , very full slighlty narrow lips, wide short nose with a round tip.
So am I correct with my guess??

  22. hello, my body type is romantic based on the quiz, but why i feel like i don’t “vibe” with romantic clothes, or i don’t feel like romantic type clothes suit me? my quiz results looks like this:

    1. C
    2. E
    3. C
    4. C
    Body Flesh

    11. E
    12. E
    13. E
    14. E

Can you help me to determine if I’m a romantic or a soft classic? What type am I really? Thank you!

  23. Hi Rebekah! I’m 5’4 and my results are:
Bone Structure: 3b, 1e(hands and feet)
    Flesh: 4e, 1b(low, yang hips)
Facial Features: 3a(sharp, taut cheekbones, square jaw), 2e, 1d
So am I just a soft natural with the gamine-iest face ever? Super duper short hair looks great on me.

      1. Thanks Rebekah! I needed to hear that.
Wow that video was on point; that’s me in a nutshell. I was once typed as a SN, but wearing that style was not my best. I felt a bit plain and overwhelmed, doughy and out-of-focus, especially my face. SN makeup looks wrong on me too. I discontinued and self-typed as a Romantic-Natural-Gamine on Truth is Beauty and so far that is working out much better for me. This affirms that choice. You and Merriam steered me in the right direction; a personalized approach of mostly mixed while incorporating some beveled elements is ideal! 🙂
I really appreciate all your help and your sincere dedication to answering folks here. ❤
I also hope you are feeling well and are on the mend from your surgery. Healing takes time, which can be hard, but I hope you're giving yourself permission to rest and recuperate slowly. You have our full permission to take it easy! 😉

      1. Thank you very much for your reply. [I admit I did not see the link to the second page until I searches the web page on my phone and there it appears whole]. I took the test several times and I get either soft classic or dramatic classic [and once theatrical romantic] but I am not good at this test, I don’t know what is average for what they ask and how you consider your features smaller or bigger. Also, I grew up being told I have a round face, big nose and huge forehead and small chest and big thighs and long arms. Even though my face is mostly hear shape I still see it round and my body overall shape looks harmonious but it’s hard to see it for what it is and I believe most girls have this problem. I am like 5’5” (167 cm) and currently 62 kg. When I get some extra weight it goes everywhere. My personal style is focused on balance and I found this like an innate sense of looking best in structured pieces, keeping it simple. I like adding some asymmetry to my look through small details. I tried wearing more romantic pieces but they always feel too crowded like – if it’s romantic-looking jewelry (ring/earrings) it feels not in sync with my overall look or vibe. I added some pictures this time.
Congradulations, your site apears first searching “Kibbe body” test. There is not a lot of information on the internet on how to determine your body type. You can add a + by being more daring and add some personal experience on body types (that you surely have) instead of being loyal to the Kibbe type theory. You are great, I appreciate so much you answer to all messages.

  25. Could you please help identify my body type please?

  26. Hi! Can you help me define my body type? I couldn’t read the results properly 🙂
    Bone structure: 1c – 2c – 3b – 4a
    Flesh: 5d – 6c – 7d – 8d – 9c
    Facial features: 10d – 11b – 12d – 13c – 14d – 15d

  27. Hi Rebekah, I feel like I’m all over the place.
    Bone: 1c 2b 3c 4c
    Flesh: 5b 6b 7b 8a 9b
    Features: 10e, 11b/e?, 12e, 13d, 14d, 15e

  28. I’m 5’10” I consider myself a soft dramatic but I would appreciate your insight, here’s me results;
    My vertical line is: B
    My shoulders are: B
My arms and legs are: C
My hands and feet are: D
The overall shape of my body is: D
The overall shape of my bust line is: C
The overall shape of my waistline is: C
The overall shape of my hips is: A
The flesh on my upper arms and thighs are: E
    My jawline is: D
    My nose is: E
    My cheekbones are: A
    My eyes are: A
    My lips are: C
    My cheeks are: D

  29. HI Rebekah,

I would love if you could help me out, I honestly have a hard time deciding even for each feature.
    1. B
    2. B
    3. B
    4. C
(I would say I have slightly broader shoulders, straight dips with hip dips, and a reasonably defined waist. I have broader shoulders but my bones are not large, they tend to be on the smaller side (reasonably small wrists)
I have a fuller bust, larger meatier thights, and thinner arms in comparison but they are not sinewy (I am about 10-15 lbs overweight)
    15. B/C
    16. C
I have a longer face, and a longer nose but it is a bit bulbous at the end. Higher cheekbones but not defined, definitely not round. I do have fleshier cheeks that side the structure. Bigger eyes.

Thank you so much for your help!

  30. I also have some problems to nail my type. And to answear the questions properly.
When I tell my lenght, people are usually suprised that I’m that tall 172 cm, so I guess I look kind off shortish.
    I have a big head.
    Bone: D, C/D, C/D, E Flesh: C,C/D,C,D Face: E, B, A,D, C/D, D
I have for real big heavy bones but they are not long or sharp. My feet and hands look rounded smallish and wide.
Limbs are more on the shortish side wheras waist is sweeping and long.I have a big bust but nothing extra ordinary. 75-f. I gather fat on my upper arms. My vrist and ankles show that I’m not a bit delicate.
When I have tried celebrity look alike face comparisons they have come up with Sophia Loren and Uma Thurman, I read a lot off coments from pictures on social media that people think i resemble Greta Garbo. I do have very big eyelids and the area eyes-eyebrows is large.Slightly upturned eyes. Wide forehead. Chin is small. Jaw is broad. Nose is a bit bulboas. My mouth is small and as somebody put it doll like. More flesh on the underlip.
I don’t feel comfortable wearing romantic cloethes, because my waistline is not hourglass. I lean towards natural lines but I think they might make me look a little bit sloppy. I normally stay away from patterns. I like simplicity.

  31. Hi, thank you for the test and all the related articles. I struggle with my test since I’m a new mom. I use to be a skinny petite person now i have these results and can’t find an answer for my new body type. Here are my results of this test :

  32. Hi! I have trouble finding my type because of my facial features which I consider to be mostly C (my lips for example are small but not straight and i would say they are heart shaped but looking at the D/E picture examples they definitely aren’t as full and big). Based on these test results, I suppose I’m kind of a hybrid, but I’m not sure I can find an exact answer by myself. Basically A-face(but upturned eyes, though not slightly close together, I didn’t know what letter to choose), basically lean physique, but still pronounced waist. Oh..

    my bust is 101 cm
    my chest is 92 cm

    my hip is 104 cm
    my thigh is 57 cm
    my neck is 38 cm.
thanke u again for ur truly help rebekah :*

  37. Hi! I really like this test, but I’m having hard time figuring it out. I’m guessing Theatrical romantic, or Gamine/flamboyant gamine?
I’m 5’7, 98 pounds. When I gain weight, it’s only from my hips down.
    My results:
    Bone structure: 1B, 2B, 3C, 4C
    Flesh: 5A, 6A, 7A, 8A, 9C
    Face: 10-15 all D’s

So, 4 As, 2 Bs, 3 Cs, and 6 Ds
Help would be much appreciated 😉 thanks!

  38. Hi Rebekah! Been doing this test on a few different websites, but I’m confused about the results – mostly because it doesn’t feel like that’s what I should be when I look in the mirror. PLEASE HELP ME!

    Test Results:

    Bone Structure:
    1. B (I’m 1.76 cm or 5 ft 9)
    2. C
    3. C
    4. A

    Flesh on Body:
    5. D (I’m definitely an hourglass, but not prominent enough to be Beyonce.)
    6. C
    7. C
    8. D
    9. C

    Facial Features:
    10. D
    11. A (My nose is sharp and narrow, but not too prominent.)
    12. C
    13. C
    14. A
    15. C

The problem is, according to most of the tests, I’m supposed to be a Soft Classic, or Pure Classic but:
I’m quite tall, taller than average
My hands and feet aren’t small and round, they’re narrow and long
My shoulders aren’t rounded and small, they’re slightly sloped but angular and proportioned
My face isn’t round, it’s oval/oblong (like Liv Tyler)
My facial features wouldn’t be described as round, plump and large – it’s more narrow and delicate, but with a heavier, narrow jawline.
And I feel like my hips aren’t narrow enough to be a Pure Classic – I have quite wide hips, but well-proportioned to my shoulders. My thighs are more rounded than I would think a Pure Classic’s are, and my bottom is also quite rounded (I gain weight around my bust, hips, thighs).

Safe to say, I need your help please! lol
***Thank you so much for creating this test, btw. It’s extremely informative and really easy to understand! ❤ ***

  39. Hey there Rebekah,
I recently discovered your website and blog here and I find your doing awesome work and putting so much effort and detail in this too! Thank you very much for this. It is so helpful! Very much like the previous ladies commented I’m struggling finding my body type. I feel I am in between types, haha.
I’d appreciate it very much if you could help me with my test results:
I consider myself quite tall as I’m about 1,76cm. My bustline seems broad though I have a small cup size. I have a quite small waistline as well and my hips seem feminine. My appearance seems strong and present as I get this often as feedback.
Would love to hear your feedback on my test results.
    Thanks in advance,

  40. Hello I am a little confused, I was typed gamine before but it looks wrong on me. My next guess is DC, would you agree?

    c, a, a, a

    a, c, c, d, b

    c, e, c, c, d, e

  41. hi, I was wondering if you could help? These are my results and thanks in advance 1.C 2.B 3.C 4.C 5.B 6.B 7.B 8.B 9.B 10.B 11.B 12.B 13.A 14.B 15.B

  42. Hey Rebekah! I have been typed as a SC, TR, SD, SN, R and SG before – needless to say I am a little confused.

Since I am 168cm / 5″6′ people say I would be too short to be a Romantic, Theatrical Romantic, Soft Gamine or Soft Classic. (because they’re all supposed to be under 5″5′)
At the same time I don’t think I can be Soft Dramatic because my vertical line is short. (I have a large head, large hands and feet, short limbs – if you saw a picture of me you would never guess I was 168cm / 5″6′)
So I thought I could be Soft Natural, but the clothes and hairstyles don’t fit me, since I sort of look undone and unkempt.

My body is extremely curvy but also very muscular and “compact” since I work out a lot.
I have Zooey-Deschanel type bangs and hair (I also kind of look like her – blue eyes, dark hair, fair skin). Same as with her, the bangs give my face more character and if I didn’t have them I would look less interesting.
I don’t have a Gaminey doll-like face though. It’s actually quite balanced, but my jawline is pretty broad.
I think I look good with layered but not touseled curly/wavy hair (similar to Zooeys) or a milkmaid-braid updo. My make-up looks best, when I wear winged eyeliner and a red muted lipstick.
I feel like a combination of multiple types, maybe SN, SC and R.

I took the test again with some objective full body pictures of myself and this is the outcome. I would love it if you could help me!

    Bone Structure:
    1) D/E
    2) B
    3) D/E
    4) B

    5) E
    6) B
    7) D
    8) D/E
    9) D/E

    10) B
    11) C
    12) C
    13) C
    14) C/D
    15) E

      1. No worries! Based on your results, I’d say you’re a soft gamine. You have too many soft yang answers to be a TR, and not quite enough C answers to be in the classic family, so I feel like soft gamine best suits your results.

As for your height: even though height plays a roll in determining body type, I feel as if the height guidelines for the body types need to be adjusted a bit. Different areas of the world have different average heights, and I believe the average height for women is starting to get taller. And, as you said, you have a short vertical line despite your height.

  43. Hi, Rebekah!
    Please help! My results are:
    8) C or B
    15) C or D

I can’t find the link to the results page. So, I’m not sure what this means! Thanks so much!
