Body Type Test Results

As a quick warning, interpreting the results may seem a bit complicated. Don’t worry if you’re not sure about what your results are; if you’re having difficulty interpreting the results just leave a comment with your answers and I’ll do my best to help you out.

Romantics

If you got mostly ‘E’ answers, then you have the romantic body type.

Your body is made up of soft and rounded lines, and you’re probably on the short side. Some of your features may seem wide, but because they’re short and rounded, they don’t have a lot of visual weight. If you work out a lot your muscles are softly defined rather than quite sharp. When you gain weight your body becomes very rounded and soft, however you will still maintain a softly defined figure if you’re an hourglass shape.

If you got mostly ‘D’ answers, or a combination of ‘E’ and ‘D’ with up to 4 ‘A’ + ‘B’ answers in body or facial bones, then you have the theatrical romantic body type.

Your body is made up of soft and rounded lines, however you also have some added angularity in your bone structure or facial features. You also tend to be more narrow than the romantic. If you work out a lot your muscles are softly defined rather than quite sharp. When you gain weight your body becomes very rounded and soft, however you will still maintain a defined figure if you’re an hourglass shape.

Dramatics

If you got mostly ‘A’ answers, then you have the dramatic body type.

Your body is made up of long and sharply angular lines, however you still tend to be on the narrow side. You’re probably also on the tall side. If you work out a lot your muscles are defined but add to your visual length rather than widening out your figure. When you gain weight your body still keeps a rather straight silhouette, rather than becoming extremely curved.

If you got mostly ‘A’ answers, plus some ‘D’ or ‘E’ answers in flesh or facial features, then you have the soft dramatic body type.

Your body is made up of long and sharply rounded lines, however you have some added softness in your flesh or facial features. You’re also probably on the tall side. If you work out a lot your muscles may be more softly defined than the dramatic’s, as you have some softness in your flesh. When you gain weight it tends to collect most at your softest features.

Classics

If you got mostly ‘C’ answers, then you have the classic body type.

Your body is quite evenly proportioned, and you’re probably of average height. It’s hard to say if any of your features are soft and round, or sharp and angular, since they’re such an even blend. If you work out a lot your muscles tend to add to your balanced look, rather than changing it. When you gain weight you still maintain your balanced look, neither very rounded nor very straight. A blend between the two.

If you got mostly ‘C’ answers, with several ‘D’ or ‘E’ answers, then you have the soft classic body type.

Your body is quite evenly proportioned, however you have some added softness, probably in your flesh or facial features. You look to be of average height or a bit short. If you work out a lot your muscles may be softly defined, however your body still looks quite balanced. When you gain weight your body tends to become rounder and quite soft.

If you got mostly ‘C’ answers, with several ‘A’ or ‘B’ answers, then you have the dramatic classic body type.

Your body is quite evenly proportioned proportioned, but you have some added angularity, probably in your bone structure or facial bones. You’re probably of average height or a bit tall. If you work out a lot your muscles tend to add to your balanced look, rather than changing it. When you gain weight you also maintain your balanced look, neither very rounded nor very straight. A blend between the two.

Naturals

If you got mostly ‘B’ answers, then you have the natural body type.

Your body is made of beveled angles and has a wide bone structure. You’re probably of average height or slightly tall, however you don’t look as long as the dramatic. You gain muscle easily, and if you work out a lot your muscles add to your broadness and can be quite defined. When you gain weight your body tends to stick to a square-ish shape.

If you got mostly ‘B’ answers, with several ‘D’ or ‘E’ answers, then you have the soft natural body type.

Your body is made of beveled angles and has a wide bone structure, however you have some added softness, probably in your flesh or facial features. You’re probably slightly short or of average height. You gain muscle easily when working out, however it tends to be more softly defined than with the natural. When you gain weight you tend to collect it in the parts of your flesh that are softest, which can lead to a very rounded figure.

If you got mostly ‘B’ answers, with several ‘A’ answers, then you have the flamboyant natural body type.

Your body is made of beveled angles and has a wide bone structure, however you have some added length and sharpness. You’re probably quite tall, or look tall. You gain muscle easily when working out, however it can be wide and defined, or long and straight depending on where your sharper angularity comes from. When you gain weight your body tends to maintain a straight shape, like a rectangle or square.

Gamines

(The name comes from a French word, so it’s masculine when spelled as ‘gamin’ and feminine when spelled as ‘gamine’, however I’ll be treating the word gamine as if it was already gender neutral.)

If you got an even mixture of ‘A’ + ‘B’ answers and ‘D’ + ‘E’ answers, then you have the gamine body type.

You have a mixture of structured and soft answers across your bone structure, flesh, facial bones, and facial features, which makes it difficult to say exactly where each answer will fall. I also can’t say exactly how muscle or weight gain will happen to you, as it’s quite difficult to make generalizations about gamines.

If you got a mixture of answers, with more ‘D’ + ‘E’ answers than ‘A’ + ‘B’, then you have the soft gamine body type.

You have a mixture of structured and soft answers across your bone structure, flesh, facial bones, and facial features, however you have some added softness (probably in your flesh or facial features). If you have softer flesh then your muscles will become softly defined from working out, and your figure will become rounded from weight gain.

If you got a mixture of answers, with more ‘A’ + ‘B’ answers than ‘D’ + ’E’, then you have the flamboyant gamine body type.

You have a mixture of structured and soft answers across your bone structure, flesh, facial bones, and facial features, however you have some added angularity (probably in your flesh or facial features). If you have more structured flesh then you’ll probably gain muscle easily from working out, and it will add to your angular silhouette. Weight gain will also maintain a straighter figure, unless you have soft answers in your flesh.

  1. Hi Rebekah,

I‘m mostly b but second c – this seems to be a not too common combination?

    These are my answers:
    Bone structure: bcabcbae
    Facial bone: ceb
    Flesh on body: cda
    Facial features: bdb

Maybe you can figure something out?
    Thank you!

    1. Thanks for commenting, Annette! Based on your results I’d say you’re a natural. Here’s the link to my N Pinterest board: https://www.pinterest.ca/cozyrebekah/natural-kibbe-body-types-inspiration/

The weird thing about C answers is that because they’re so directly balanced, they only affect your body type leaning if they’re the majority answer. Since you have majority of B answers and an almost even mix of A and D+E, I’d say you’re most likely a natural. Hope that helps!

      1. Thank you so much! It‘s interesting: when I compare myself to the photos and their descriptions I‘d say that clothing of the dramatic classic fits me best – but the hair of the naturals. Is there a theory that head and body could be of two different Kibbe types? Haha

  2. Hi Rebekah! I know you’ve been getting tons of these but I was wondering if you could help me too, I’m very new to Kibble and also very lost lol 😅

I’m about 1.63m (so ~5’4) and I have a fairly narrow torso, small breasts and slim arms and defined shoulders (not sharp tho), but much wider and fuller hips and thighs (I don’t really think they’re proportionate to my upper body lol). I have defined cheekbones but they’re not super sharp like the dramatics have, huge eyes and a narrow nose.

So I took your other test first (with full body pics of myself for reference) and i had a mixture of A+B and C+D, with more C+D answers. So soft gamine, which I think could be the closest to my body (?

After that I took this test, and I got this:
    Bone structure: C,C,D,E,A,D,D,E
    Facial bones: A,D,C
    Body flesh: B,C,E
    Facial features: E,C,C
My result would technically be soft classic taking this into account, but I don’t really look like the soft classics I’ve seen in photos, so idk
It’s very possible that without the drawings for reference I’ve answered things incorrectly, what do you think?

  3. Thank you so much for doing this, it was really helpful and a lot easier to figure out than other tests. Although I’m still slightly unsure of the exact answer, almost all of my answers are E’s (12 to be exact) with 2 D’s (in my vertical line) and 2 A’s (1 in my vertical line, the other in the flesh of body). Am I a romantic like I concluded or was I totally off mark? It’d be really great if you can help me.

  4. Hi,
    My result is:
    Bone Structure: 3B, 4D, 1E
    Facial Bone: 1E, 1D, 1B
    Flesh: 2E, 1C
    Facial Features: 2E, 1D

I’m really confused! I think i might be in either the gamine or the romantic. What do you think?

  5. I was pretty sure I was a flamboyant gamine but I notably have way less D/E answers in my retake of test (only 3, all for facial features)
Am I still a flamboyant gamine?

  7. Hi there Rebekah! I know you get a lot of these but I am very unsure about mine, I’m not sure if I would be some sort of Gamine or a mix of a romantic and natural as I have a large lead that is tied with B and E

    B: 6
    C: 1
    D: 3
    E: 6

  8. Hi! I’m just so confused. I got mostly Ds and an E with a few A/B and like four Cs. Would I be considered a theatrical romantic since all of the A, B, and C answers are from my bone structure? What do the Cs mean? Do they make me a soft classic or something? A soft gamine?

    Bone structure: 1 A, 1 B, 3 C, 3 D
    Facial bones: 1 A, 1 C, 1 E
Flesh of the body: 3 D
    Facial features: 3 D

  9. Hi! I’m a little unsure about my results from this as initially thought I was a Theatrical Romantic but after looking at some examples I’m stuck between whether I could be either TR or Soft Gamine! My results from this were:
    Bone structure of body: D,D,C,D,E,E,D,E
    Facial bones: D,E,B
    Flesh of the body: D,C,E
    Facial features: B,C,D

Please help! If it helps I’m around 5’5, a UK dress size 8-10 and I carry most of my weight around my thighs and hips!

  10. Hi! May I ask your opinion about my results? : ) My answers were:
    Bone structure of body: A,E,D,A,C,C,E,A
    Facial bones: D,D,C
    Flesh of the body: C,E,D
    Facial features: D,D,D

I was thinking that maybe I am either Theatrical Romantic or Soft Gamine but I am not sure about it… :’) I have full bust, short torso and straight, not very defined waist and relatively narrow hips. I´d say my body type is apple and my legs are very slim and long compared to my other body parts and make me look a little taller than I am (166cm). My dress size is typically 10-12 or US 8. : )

  11. Hi! So I’m intrigued by the idea of Kibbe body types, but much like many tests like this, I don’t seem to fit in one category! I’m average height (5’4”), but have a small head, so I seem taller than I am. My feet and hands are both small and on the narrow side, although not extremely narrow. I am kind of hourglass shaped with a defined waist, although not extremely so, and larger hips. My eyes are small, rounded, and slightly upturned, my nose is narrow at the bridge but rounded, and my cheekbones are high and very well defined when I weigh less. My answers to the quiz were as follows:
    Bone structure:
    1b 2a 3c 4b 5d 6d 7e 8e
    Facial bones
    9d 10d 11a
    Body Flesh
    12d 13c 14e
    Facial Features
    15d 16c 17d
    A’s = 2
    B’s = 2
    C’s = 2
    D’s = 7
    E’s = 3

    Thank you for your help!

    1. Thanks for commenting, Breanna! Since you have quite a mixture of results, I’d say you’re a gamine. Here’s the link to my G Pinterest board: https://www.pinterest.ca/cozyrebekah/gamine-kibbe-body-types-inspiration/

Also, I know that some people have a thing about height and the Kibbe body types, but I personally don’t think that people are restricted to only being a certain body type based on their height. For example, Taylor Swift is quite tall, but I find she looks her best in gamine and flamboyant gamine lines.

  14. Hi Rebekah! I got quite a mix of results and need some help interpreting them. I’m 5’7”, and wear around a size 6 (US). My face is rather wide/broad and rounded. I have broad shoulders, skinnier limbs that lean towards muscular, narrow hips, soft midsection and very slightly defined waist (I tend to carry weight in my midsection).

Here are the results I got…
    Bone Structure of the Body
    C
    B
    A
    D
    C
    B
    B
    D
    Facial Bones

    E
    E
    Flesh of the Body
    C
    D
    D
    Facial Features
    D
    C
    E

Based on your write-up of the types, soft natural seemed to fit me, but the results of the test suggested either Theatrical Romantic or Soft Gamine. I’ve never thought of myself as gamine due to my broader facial features and broad shoulders. I also never thought of myself as any romantic type as I don’t have wide hips or much waist definition, and bust is small-moderately sized (perhaps my impression of Romantic is narrow…). Though with the theatrical element would fit some of my bone structure. I’m hoping you can shed some light!
    Thank you so much!

      1. Thanks for commenting, Vienna! Your results do seem consistent with being a soft gamine, and in my experience soft gamines can have some width to them. Since they have a mixture of features, it’s possible for some of the features to be answer B. But since you feel like a soft natural, I suggest trying on both some soft gamine lines and some soft natural ones and seeing which you prefer!

  15. Good evening, I really tried determining my body type based on the results and description given but it just doesn’t seem right. My answers would classify me as either a romantic or a theatrical romantic, but my hips are long and straight, my waist is short yes but its only a little defined and my shoulders are wide, which makes me an inverted triangle. i’m leaning on soft natural because i feel like their clothing style makes me more comfortable but i’d like knowing what my actual body type is, can you help classify me?

    OBS: d, b, c, c, c, e, e, b
    FB: d, b, d, d, e
    FF: e, e, d.

thank you for making the test by the way, i was looking all over the internet for a well explained one.

      1. Hi Rebekah,
Thank you so much for answering. I definitely think that I am a mix of the two. I identify with elements of both to create a whole, which is definitely something that I can work with. 😊
If it’ll change anything, I’m 5’5″ with a petite bust and ribcage, tiny waist, and wide hips and a bubble booty. 😅My glasses need to have a flat bottom, and I can wear my hair straight or curly/messy.

  18. Hi Rebekah! I’m having so many difficulties determining my kibbe body type. I got 6 A’s, 2 B’s, 4 C’s, 4 D’s and 1 E.
I’m somewhere between 5’6 and 5’7 but my limbs are fairly long for someone my height. I don’t really know other than the metric system well but I figured I’d typically wear a size 0-4 in american sizing, and a 6 would be somewhat loosely fitting, relaxed clothing for me. Also all pants/skirts are usually very loose on me on the waist but fit well on the butt. Hopefully you find this information to be atleast a bit helpful!

  20. Hi Rebekah, thank you for making this quiz! I have been loving Kibbe test content. As for applying it to myself, I have been having a little trouble.
I seem to be quite close to theatrical romantic, but I’m a little thrown off. I got nearly half D, some C, and a few A and E but no B. If it helps, my A scores were all from body categories, whereas my E scores were from facial categories.
    Bone structure: 1C, 2D, 3A, 4D, 5D, 6D, 7A, 8D
    Facial bones: 9D, 10C, 11D

    Total:
    A: 2
    B: 0
    C: 4
    D: 9
    E: 2
If it helps – I am 172cm and my measurements are 35-25-37. I usually wear size 4 or small clothing, and sometimes medium.
What do you think of these results? Thank you again!

  22. Hi Rebekah!

Thanks so much for doing this quiz 🙂 I’m a little confused by my results, so I will appreciate if you can help give me your opinion!

    Bone structure of the body: b d d c a e d e
    Facial bones: a c a
    Flesh of the body: c a d
    Facial features: c c c

I seem to have more Cs, but an equal combination of A/B and E/D. Does that make me a gamine?

For additional information, I typically wear UK6 (US2?), and my measurements are 32, 25, 35. When reading about each of the types, I identify somewhat with soft classic, but felt that gamine (or soft gamine) could apply to me too. Only thing is that I dont look childlike (which has been used to describe gamine) and dont really like bold patterns.

    Thanks for helping!

    1. Thanks for commenting! Based on your results I’d say you sound like you’re on the cusp between gamine and classic. What I suggest for you is to use a mixture of gamine and classic lines! For example you could go with a smooth, symmetrical, and minimal look, but then add some slight gamine elements such as a higher neckline, or some slight colors blocks or contrasting elements (doesn’t have to be an animated pattern, could be something as simple as wearing a crew neck t-shirt tucked into some jeans with a contrasting belt).
