Body Type Test Results

As a quick warning, interpreting the results may seem a bit complicated. Don’t worry if you’re not sure about what your results are; if you’re having difficulty interpreting the results just leave a comment with your answers and I’ll do my best to help you out. Or you can book a consultation with me, and I’ll help you figure out your body type.

Romantics

If you got mostly ‘E’ answers, then you have the romantic body type.

Your body is made up of soft and rounded lines, and you’re probably on the short side. Some of your features may seem wide, but because they’re short and rounded, they don’t have a lot of visual weight. If you work out a lot your muscles are softly defined rather than quite sharp. When you gain weight your body becomes very rounded and soft, however you will still maintain a softly defined figure if you’re an hourglass shape.

If you got mostly ‘D’ answers, or a combination of ‘E’ and ‘D’ with up to 4 ‘A’ + ‘B’ answers in body or facial bones, then you have the theatrical romantic body type.

Your body is made up of soft and rounded lines, however you also have some added angularity in your bone structure or facial features. You also tend to be more narrow than the romantic. If you work out a lot your muscles are softly defined rather than quite sharp. When you gain weight your body becomes very rounded and soft, however you will still maintain a defined figure if you’re an hourglass shape.

Dramatics

If you got mostly ‘A’ answers, then you have the dramatic body type.

Your body is made up of long and sharply angular lines, however you still tend to be on the narrow side. You’re probably also on the tall side. If you work out a lot your muscles are defined but add to your visual length rather than widening out your figure. When you gain weight your body still keeps a rather straight silhouette, rather than becoming extremely curved.

If you got mostly ‘A’ answers, plus some ‘D’ or ‘E’ answers in flesh or facial features, then you have the soft dramatic body type.

Your body is made up of long and sharply rounded lines, however you have some added softness in your flesh or facial features. You’re also probably on the tall side. If you work out a lot your muscles may be more softly defined than the dramatic’s, as you have some softness in your flesh. When you gain weight it tends to collect most at your softest features.

Classics

If you got mostly ‘C’ answers, then you have the classic body type.

Your body is quite evenly proportioned, and you’re probably of average height. It’s hard to say if any of your features are soft and round, or sharp and angular, since they’re such an even blend. If you work out a lot your muscles tend to add to your balanced look, rather than changing it. When you gain weight you still maintain your balanced look, neither very rounded nor very straight. A blend between the two.

If you got mostly ‘C’ answers, with several ‘D’ or ‘E’ answers, then you have the soft classic body type.

Your body is quite evenly proportioned, however you have some added softness, probably in your flesh or facial features. You look to be of average height or a bit short. If you work out a lot your muscles may be softly defined, however your body still looks quite balanced. When you gain weight your body tends to become rounder and quite soft.

If you got mostly ‘C’ answers, with several ‘A’ or ‘B’ answers, then you have the dramatic classic body type.

Your body is quite evenly proportioned proportioned, but you have some added angularity, probably in your bone structure or facial bones. You’re probably of average height or a bit tall. If you work out a lot your muscles tend to add to your balanced look, rather than changing it. When you gain weight you also maintain your balanced look, neither very rounded nor very straight. A blend between the two.

Naturals

If you got mostly ‘B’ answers, then you have the natural body type.

Your body is made of beveled angles and has a wide bone structure. You’re probably of average height or slightly tall, however you don’t look as long as the dramatic. You gain muscle easily, and if you work out a lot your muscles add to your broadness and can be quite defined. When you gain weight your body tends to stick to a square-ish shape.

If you got mostly ‘B’ answers, with several ‘D’ or ‘E’ answers, then you have the soft natural body type.

Your body is made of beveled angles and has a wide bone structure, however you have some added softness, probably in your flesh or facial features. You’re probably slightly short or of average height. You gain muscle easily when working out, however it tends to be more softly defined than with the natural. When you gain weight you tend to collect it in the parts of your flesh that are softest, which can lead to a very rounded figure.

If you got mostly ‘B’ answers, with several ‘A’ answers, then you have the flamboyant natural body type.

Your body is made of beveled angles and has a wide bone structure, however you have some added length and sharpness. You’re probably quite tall, or look tall. You gain muscle easily when working out, however it can be wide and defined, or long and straight depending on where your sharper angularity comes from. When you gain weight your body tends to maintain a straight shape, like a rectangle or square.

Gamines

(The name comes from a French word, so it’s masculine when spelled as ‘gamin’ and feminine when spelled as ‘gamine’, however I’ll be treating the word gamine as if it was already gender neutral.)

If you got an even mixture of ‘A’ + ‘B’ answers and ‘D’ + ‘E’ answers, then you have the gamine body type.

You have a mixture of structured and soft answers across your bone structure, flesh, facial bones, and facial features, which makes it difficult to say exactly where each answer will fall. I also can’t say exactly how muscle or weight gain will happen to you, as it’s quite difficult to make generalizations about gamines.

If you got a mixture of answers, with more ‘D’ + ‘E’ answers than ‘A’ + ‘B’, then you have the soft gamine body type.

You have a mixture of structured and soft answers across your bone structure, flesh, facial bones, and facial features, however you have some added softness (probably in your flesh or facial features). If you have softer flesh then your muscles will become softly defined from working out, and your figure will become rounded from weight gain.

If you got a mixture of answers, with more ‘A’ + ‘B’ answers than ‘D’ + ’E’, then you have the flamboyant gamine body type.

You have a mixture of structured and soft answers across your bone structure, flesh, facial bones, and facial features, however you have some added angularity (probably in your flesh or facial features). If you have more structured flesh then you’ll probably gain muscle easily from working out, and it will add to your angular silhouette. Weight gain will also maintain a straighter figure, unless you have soft answers in your flesh.

    2. I NEED your help! I am OBSESSED with the Kibbe body types and need to settle what mine is once and for all.
Some side context: I am 167 cm tall and have been skinny for much of my life- a lot of people said I looked underweight. Now I have a bit of a figure but it’s only because I put on weight.

My sis says I am a DC like her but I don’t change drastically if I put on weight (I just fill out evenly I guess). I am iffy between the classics and gamines. I like loose and flowy girly silhouettes and outfits so the dramatic types seem wrong but idk that’s why I need your help.

    3. Hey I need your help!
I am a generally skinny/slender girl and have a really “pretty” face with a thin frame. I am not super busty or angular either so maybe a classic?

      Here are my answers:
      cdcaadcdeecaccec

On second thought, I think I am a soft classic.

    4. Hey I need help. I am about 167 cm tall and even though my sister and I are the same height, people assume I’m taller than her. I have a very “pretty” face and I tend to gain weight in my torso first. Help!

      Bone structure: bdacaaec
      Facial bones: dee
      Flesh of the body: caa
      Facial features: cec

I seem to have a little bit of everything.
I am generally considered skinny, and only when I hit 50 kgs did I look like I had a bit of a figure.

      1. I was looking through and I think I am a soft dramatic. I don’t have giant eyes or prominent cheekbones and have a generally “yin” face but most of the clothes I look good and feel good in are kind of stiffish with a little flow and really bright colours. Also, I love waist emphasis as I don’t look too figure-having without it. What do you think?

      2. Sorry for the endless comments- I’ve got really thin and long arms and legs and have been told I pull of miniskirts and short bottoms really well. Skinny jeans also seem to suit me and highlight my legs. I have a somewhat proportionate body flesh (explains all the c answers). I have always had a long and thin frame because of genetics lol, and so the whole fleshy thing seems iffy until I found out that some SDs can be really thin. Argh this is so frustrating. Please confirm what the heck of a body type I have. Kay thanks.

      3. Hi Harriet, no need to apologize for leaving a lot of comments, they help me get a better understanding of you to make a better judgement on what your type could be! You’re right, some SDs can be really thin, but based on your answers, height, and preferred clothing, I’m actually leaning more towards you being a Gamine or a Flamboyant Gamine. We pull off those types of clothes really well, lots of bright colors, short skirts or shorts, and skinny jeans are all great on us. Here’s the link to my FG Pinterest board: https://www.pinterest.ca/cozyrebekah/flamboyant-gamine-kibbe-body-types-inspiration/

      4. That’s interesting. I don’t seem to like the FG lines on me. I don’t prefer things that fitted on me. I don’t feel at home in them, you know?

I like loose things as a kid but now, I prefer a “fit-and-flare” sort of thing. I kinda prefer SD lines as I tend to avoid separates as I feel a little out of place in them.

Some of my best outfits have had unbroken lines with a loose flow and a little SD vibe in there. Also, the first thing about being a gamine is to be short, right?

I am 5 ft 6 and that seems to lie on the border. But I look tall AND skinny. (not TOO tall, but tall)

        p.s I don’t think i am explaining myself very well 😉

      5. I have very rounded shoulders. I also have long arms and feet (slender fingers and limbs). I’m sorry but I just don’t see FG or G in me.

My eyes are average sized and I also don’t have those FG features. I have a somewhat proportioned body with moderate bustline and hips. The only thing that really looks fleshy is my torso, which gains weight really easily. So, based on that, I guessed one of the dramatics. But my body isn’t lithe or dry enough for pure dramatic, so I settled on SD. I love the lines and they look very similar to some of my favourites in my current wardrobe.

      6. Oh my God, yassss! I mean, not to discredit your initial assumption, but FG didn’t feel like me, you know? I felt too tall, and too off for it. I initially thought I was SC but I tend to look really boring in those lines.

Thanks for your help, Rebekah! Keep it up!

    5. Hey I need you help. I have been trying for months to decide what type I am but every time I pick one, I don’t feel right in it. Initially, I thought I was a soft classic but I kind of don’t like plain clothes too much. I prefer a little more design tbh

      Anyways here are my results..
      Bone structure
      BDABABB

      Facial bones
      DEE

      Body flesh
      CAB

      Facial features
      CEC

      Side context
I am 167 cm tall and although I look thin, I don’t look too tall so I don’t think SD would work for me. I definitely prefer looser clothes on me, usually something softly flowy.

I have a really thin constitution because of genetics and don’t really put on weight too easily. But when I do, it comes to the torso first. My limbs remain thin. I’ve been told I have a very pretty face, with my full lips being the best feature. My eyes are average to smallish which is a natural feature if I’m not wrong. I initially thought after SC, I was a SD but I tried one dress on that would suit an SD and I kinda looked lost and drowning in it. I prefer girly patterns with a loose fit and gentle flow…so I’m thinking soft natural? Definitely not flamboyant natural because I’m not that tall. I don’t look like it either. Romantic lines look like I’m playing dress up. I really resonated with the whole appealing innocent essence thing, because people think I’m approachable, nice and not intimidating like a dramatic.

My mom is a SN and she has a slightly off center nose. My nose isn’t like that but it’s small and wide, but it seems to fit the description. So, I’m thinking a REALLY thin soft natural.

I’m actually an Indian girl and my coloring is warm toned. I’m on the fairer side. My hair is silky but on the wavy side.

What do you think? Historically I think I always gravitated towards SN lines. The design sometimes goes more minimalistic but most of the time, it’s got a soft flow, has a girly pattern…

I also have rounded shoulders. My waist is around 28 inches so my body doesn’t have an hourglass but I feel like that doesn’t take from the overall vibe.

Sorry for the tirade I just really need your help.

    6. Hi Rebeka,
I love your blog, you’re doing such great work. You make it less confusing in comparison with what I read before. I’m tall 5’9″ and mostly thin but not completely angular. I got 9A, 5B and 1D, I feel I’m a dramatic with flamboyant natural in it. Should I consider me simply as a dramatic.

      Thank you in advance

      15.D
      16.E
      17.D

I am about 167 cm tall so I cannot really rule out any type. I don’t feel tall enough for the dramatics or short enough for the romantics. I used to be quite thin so most of my answers would have been A . But I’ve put on weight and am now at an ideal weight so some features like my cheeks, arms and legs have filled out a bit. I generally do not prefer super form-fitting clothes and like a loose fit. Even if one element of the outfit is tight, the rest has to be a little loose or at least not too clingy (especially for jeans). When it comes to my face, I have a roundish face with full lips and soft cheeks- they’re not fleshy, just soft. My eyes are average sized- they’re slightly on the upturned side but not quite. I seem to like SN lines but I don’t feel like I have enough B answers for that. My shoulders are rounded and overall, I tend to read as “pretty” and not “intimidating” or “sexy”. I have full lips. What else? Oh yeah,I put on weight in my torso first and if I slouch I look like I have a muffin top. I kind of gravitate to dresses that are flowy but not necessarily loose anymore as I’ve grown up a bit 🙂

I kinda go for more minimal designs, but I don’t think I am proportional enough for a classic, and also, that’s just the utilitarian in me, wanting to reuse clothes as many times as possible. I prefer bright, monochrome looks. My legs have got a lot of compliments for how thin they are, and people often tell me to buy skinny jeans, even though where I live, it’s super hot. I tend to look a little odd without some form of waist definition, like if I were something too poofy or unconstructed, I always hold my hands on the side to give some form of a waist. My arms are also quite thin- while they’re not taut now that I’ve filled out at an ideal weight, they still look thin. Help please!

      1. Oh I forgot to add another thing… I don’t really put on much makeup and usually just stick to a chapstick on most days. I’ve been told I don’t really need much.

Also, I definitely don’t tend to be viewed as intimidating. Sometimes hot but that’s kinda discredited by the fact that I don’t put too much effort if at all. My go to elements in outfits are flared sleeves or pants, loosely flowing maxi dresses, sundresses in bright colors etc. I seem to put on weight slightly in my face, arms, legs and mostly my torso. The torso is very obvious when I’ve gained weight while the others just look more filled out rather than fat per se. I’ve also been told that my current lob haircut suits me a lot better than my longer hair, apparently, I look younger and better. So does that make me a gamine? I don’t know. Anyways I can’t really think of anything else that might help.

      2. Thanks for commenting, Evelyn, and providing so much extra information! It’s definitely a tricky case, based on your results I would say Soft Gamine, based on your description of yourself I’d go with Flamboyant Gamine, and based on your preferred clothes I’d go with Soft Natural.

However, I’m leaning most towards Flamboyant Gamine. Here’s the link to my FG Pinterest board, but if you don’t feel comfortable in FG lines, then I recommend checking out SN lines: https://www.pinterest.ca/cozyrebekah/flamboyant-gamine-kibbe-body-types-inspiration/

      3. Well that’s interesting. Some of my best clothes have been when I put on a patterned top with a long and pleated skirt, generally when there’s some form of contrast.

One thing though. My shoulders are slender but rounded and also, I’m 167 cm tall. That’s almost 5 feet 6. I feel that’s kinda pushing it to be a gamine.

    8. Rebekah, judging by the fact that there are 600 odd comments here, you seem to be helping quite the number of people. As always, I need your help.
      Results.

      Bone structure
      1. C (sometimes I look taller than my twin sis who is about my height, but for the most part, I don’t look too tall or short) maybe a B because of that?
      2. D/E (they aren’t broad but they are definitely round)
      3. D (they reach to slightly above halfway down my thighs, but they’re definitely slender :))
      4. D (they are again thin but because my height is moderate-ish, my legs don’t help)
      5. A/D (seems like a contradiction I know, but they look long and narrow when I look at them, but they look kinda small compared to my face)
      6. A
      7. C/E (I put on weight here and also, it looks a little out of place and more prominent than the rest of my body)
      8. C

      Facial bones
      9. D (it doesn’t look too narrow but it isn’t wide)
      10. D/E (but probably E)
      11. D/E

      Facial flesh
      12. C
      13. A/D (again a contradiction- it isn’t soft or taut either. But it’s definitely slender but maybe D?)
      14. D (they aren’t taut)

      Facial features
      15. C/D (they look slightly rounded but they don’t stand out)
      16. E (what people call “luscious” lips)
      17. D/E

I am about 5 feet 6 inches tall and I have a lot of D answers but here’s the thing- I’m not curvy enough for any of the romantics- my waist is only slightly narrower than my bust and hips so it doesn’t look like an hourglass in the least. I’m not tall enough for the naturals either. I might look a little balanced but the C answers do not seem to dominate. The gamines are too short for me- and my eyes are on the smaller but rounded side). I don’t seem to fit in anywhere. As a kid, people always told me I had a doll-like face (which is a soft gamine thing, but I seem to dominate in yin than an equal mixture with slightly more yin). I tend to be called “pretty” a lot so I think I might have an ingenue essence, but since that isn’t included in Kibbe, I think I might be theatrical romantic? I definitely don’t look super luscious or curvy but my answers don’t seem to point me anywhere else.

    9. Me again (hi). A little more info cause why not? 🙂
I am not super voluptuous per se- I read as thin and underweight overall.

Only in recent years did I put on a little weight and people were like “oh you’re not the stick I thought you were”. Skinny girl problems

I generally go for loose and comfortable silhouettes- think SN. But when I put on weight, I definitely didn’t become that fleshy. It was more of a subtle change- my face became a little filled out, my thighs and arms weren’t taut anymore. Although I read as “fragile” in my family for a reason I simply cannot comprehend, my sister who is my age and height was thought to be older than she was in terms of her looks- maybe a DC thing? I tend to read as pretty, and delicate. I wouldn’t say I am sexy because my bust is average in size and I don’t have an hourglass figure- it’s a slightly defined waist with relatively straight-ish hips. My face is very yin- a rounded jawline and moderate to small cheekbones. The only thing that isn’t yin are my eyes- they’re kind of sunken into my face and they look average in terms of size. That’s why I am so iffy about theatrical romantic- these ladies are super soft and voluptuous. I don’t read as androgynous but it’s not quite as “lush”. But based on my answers, nothing else seems to fit. I initially thought I was SC because I prefer minimal design on my clothes, but I am not that proportional. Although I look moderate, and have been told I have graceful mannerisms even when being casual, it just didn’t fit. Then came SD. Worked for a bit but I’m too short for that, I feel, even in vertical line. Whatever I get, I’m definitely going to incorporate some SN lines because they make me feel good and that’s what fashion is all about, right? Anyways, help!

      1. Thanks for commenting with your results, Isabella! A lot of information to work with, which is good because it helps me narrow things down. Your results do point towards you being a Theatrical Romantic, and not all Theatrical Romantics are super lush and curvy, if that helps. Here’s the link to my TR Pinterest board: https://www.pinterest.ca/cozyrebekah/theatrical-romantic-kibbe-body-types-inspiration/

Here’s also the link to my SN Pinterest board: https://www.pinterest.ca/cozyrebekah/soft-natural-kibbe-body-types-inspiration/ Soft Naturals can actually be quite short, so even though you don’t feel tall enough for the Natural family, you could be an SN.

    10. Hey I need help. I am literally so confused. The first time I took the test I got soft classic- the clothes were alright, but the hair and other recommendations looked really boring on me.

Then I went to SD- too overwhelming on me. I looked like someone cosplaying as a comic character (no offense to SDs y’all are just lucky).

SN seemed to fit the most, but then another problem arose- I seemed a little too delicate and not as sporty looking than the other SNs. But your test was much easier to understand and hopefully your confirmation of what the heck I am would help me.

A little context because the results don’t seem to account for these:
I am 167 cm tall, so I am 5 feet 5.7 inches tall (I wish I was taller but hey you can’t have everything you want). Most of the yin elements lie in my face- full lips, rounded eyes, rounded jaw and face in general. My body tends to look moderate to yin.

      Bone structure
      1. C (I look taller than my friend who is the same height but overall it doesn’t look too off)
      2. D (they look rounded but not wide- overall my body is pretty trim)
      3. C/D (they look slender for sure but they reach slightly above to right at halfway down my thighs but I’m gonna go with D)
      4. D (they’re thin but not super long)
      5. A (they are long and narrow- slender fingers and pretty trim width)
      6. A (again long and narrow)
      7. B/E (it’s slightly more prominent but also wide so probably E)
      8. B (straight hips)

      Facial bones
      9. D (I have a round face and it looks slender)
      10. E (it’s rounded in both profile and side profile)
      11. D (my nose is pretty delicate)

      Flesh of the body
      12. C (just in case :))
      13. D (initially taut but now that I’ve filled out it’s a lot softer now)
      14. D

      Facial flesh
      15. D (they are rounded but average to small in size)
      16. E (what one might call luscious lips)
      17. D (I don’t look muscular)

Ugh I am literally so over being so confused. My answers are D dominant which seems to indicate that I’m a TR. I don’t have an hourglass figure- my waist is defined but not cinched like most TRs. Also my hands and feet are long so I don’t seem to fit enough anywhere. I’m also not too curvy and that’s why TR doesn’t fit. At this point I’m guessing SC or maybe SN. But that seems to conflict with my answers. Help please!

      1. Thanks for commenting, Sabine! This is going to sound a little crazy, but have you considered Flamboyant Gamine? Flamboyant Gamines and Soft Naturals have a surprising amount in common, and you’re the same height as Audrey Hepburn, who is right at the tallest an FG could be. I’m an FG, and I find that Soft Dramatic clothes look on me the same way that you describe them looking on you, like I’m trying to cosplay a comic character. Also I once heard someone describe Flamboyant Gamines as a mixture of Soft Naturals and Soft Gamines, which explains why you’re drawn to SN lines, but feel a bit too delicate for them.

Here’s the link to my FG Pinterest board: https://www.pinterest.ca/cozyrebekah/flamboyant-gamine-kibbe-body-types-inspiration/ Try out some FG lines to see how you feel in them, and if you don’t feel right in them then maybe try DC lines, as it’s possible that you’re a Classic with a soft yang undercurrent (Natural undercurrent) rather than a yin undercurrent. https://www.pinterest.ca/cozyrebekah/dramatic-classic-kibbe-body-types-inspiration/

    11. Hey Rebekah! I kind of like the Kibeb type system except for the life of me, I cannot figure out which type I belong to.

      Bone structure.
      1. B/C (where I live, the average height is pretty short so I look taller than most girls my age. However, overall, height isn’t something that stands out to me).
      2. D (overall my frame is pretty slender)
      3. D (my arms are about above halfway down my thighs but they look longer because they’re super thin)
      4. C/D (my limbs in general are thin but I’m not someone you’d call leggy)
      5. A (pretty long fingers)
      6. A (same for my feet 😂)
      7. C/E (in terms of length it’s moderate but it’s on the wider side and stands out compared to my thin frame)
      8. C/D (It’s evenly proportioned ish but it’s short and not narrow)

      Facial bones.
9.D (I have a round face but my jawline doesn’t look angular or square in the least)
      10. E (It’s pretty delicate but not narrow)
      11. D/E (while it doesn’t look super wide, it’s what contributes to my face looking round)

      Flesh of the body
      12. C (I’m not super busty but I don’t look flat chested either)
      13. D (my arms are thin but the flesh is soft and not super taut now that I’ve filled out at an ideal weight)
      14. D (it doesn’t look super fleshy but it looks thin and soft)

      Facial features
      15. C (they look kind of small to average when I leave them but they are on the rounded side so I don’t know if D applies here or not)
      16. E (my lower lip is much fuller and my lips look super full)
      17. D (slender but my cheeks don’t look super taut)

    12. I ma 5 feet 5 inches tall, almost 5 feet 6 inches. I feel like I can’t be any of the dramatics because my vertical line isn’t dominant. I do like natural lines, like loose and flowy but I barely have any natural answers. I also go for classic silhouettes sometimes but I feel off and too boring and serious in those lines. I absolutely need waist emphasis because without it, I look much broader than I am. I’m also not too muscular and don’t get super fleshy when I put on weight. My limbs, face and belly fill out a little bit is all. My waist is smaller than my bust and hips but I wouldn’t call it an hourglass. I’ve gotten flamboyant gamine but my eyes aren’t super giant and I look a little too yin for it. Very little of my features seem to line up with this image ID. Soft gamine won’t work either. Romantics are iffy because I’m not super curvy. I don’t seem to fit in anywhere.

      1. Thanks for commenting, Becky! Based on your results and description of yourself, I’d say that you’re a Theatrical Romantic. Theatrical Romantics tend to have a bit more yang than Romantics, and their yin tends to be more slender, so they can be less curvy than Romantics typically are, while still have a lot of yin. 13. Hey Rebekah. The 619th person to tell you I need help. But yeah. The average height for both men and women here is pretty short save for people with European blood. Anyways, analysis please.

      1. B (I’m taller than most people and my thin constitution contributes to my visual height. However, I photograph shortish)
      2. D (my frame is pretty compact and so, my shoulders are rounded but don’t contribute to visual width)
      3. D (they’re slender and short but still thin)
      4. D see above 🙂
      5. A (long fingers)
      6. A/C (but probably A)

About 5 and 6, while my digits and long, they don’t look muscular- they still look delicate so I don’t know if that’s a D undercurrent there?

      7. E (it’s wide but still compact)
      8. B (not sure)

      9. D (I have a round/heart face and while my chin isn’t super sharp, it still is slender but rounded)
      10. E (in general my face is pretty pretty and feminine)
      11. C? (idk tbh my cheekbones don’t stand out for sure but I’m not sure if they’re balanced)

      12. B/C (if I HAD to answer the question)
      13. C/D (my arms read as long but the flesh on them is ever so slightly soft but not extremely so)
      14. C/D (my thighs are moderate I guess but they are slender so they have a little bit of both)

      15. B/C/D (D seems to imply largeness but they’re not. They look slightly sunken in my face and are not prominent. But I think B implies that they’re not evenly spaced but my eyes are. Overall, my facial contours don’t read as irregular so maybe B or C)
      16. E(full lips)
      17. C/D (they tend towards softness but the flesh isn’t TOO soft so I don’t know)

I am around 5 feet 5.74 inches tall so that doesn’t rule anything out (yay me) height-wise. But some types I definitely am not are D, FN, N, DC, C, R, G, SG. I’ve been typed as soft dramatic because some of my answers are A, but I don’t think it’s dominant enough. Soft natural clothes tend to look good on me but I feel like the B answers don’t dominate. I’ve also gotten flamboyant gamine quite a few times, but here’s the thing. Very few things line up with this image identity- and I don’t even look short. Romantic is too curvy, petite and voluptuous for me. TR has also come up quite a few times but althought the “delicate” thing definitely comes from many people, it’s more in the sense of I look like a preteen girl and look easily damaged rather than actually sexy delicate. You know? I kind of am deciding between SN and SC- SN because the clothes and general affinity to loose and feminine silhouettes appeal to me. But SC is a more intrinsic identity- I do have those graceful mannerisms even when I am just lounging around. Although I do like some plain patterned clothes with minimal design, I feel a little off without some form of…I don’t know. I have a plain red dress that is just classic SC. While I’ve gotten many compliments for it, it’s..not my favourite dress of all. My favourite dress is a maxi with butterfly print that floats down my body and cascades at floor length. That makes me feel more like me. Also, my mom is a SN to the T and she says that while I don’t put on weight as rapidly as she does so it doesn’t look like I may be a SN, we do have a similar body type, just our constitutions vary radically. So I for the life of me cannot decide. Help please. I tend to like SN lines out of them all the most. So, I’m guessing soft natural/soft classic.

    14. My body seems to fit SN and SC equally- I tend to go for both kinds of clothes, but I prefer SN for sure. My shoulders are actually E (wide). They read as slightly delicate but my shoulders are pretty rounded. So…? I think my results lean towards SC or TR but my preferred clothing is SN.

    15. Hey my family recently took the test (or maybe I forced them to) and my mom is a gorgeous soft natural and my sis is a beautiful dramatic classic. In my case, I am kind of choosing between soft natural and soft classic. Everything else seems too out of place for moi and my unique physique. Anyways, here are my answers.

      Bone structure
      1. B (I am 167 cm tall but people think I’m ever so slightly taller- my height doesn’t dominate though)
      2. D
      3. B (I’m not quite sure my arms aren’t that long)
      4. C (I have thin legs but I’m not sure if they’re short I think they are moderate but the length seems to be exaggerated by how thin they are)
      5. A (long digits over here)
      6. A (again)
      7. B (I put on weight here but I wouldn’t call it long or short- it’s just wider than the rest of my body)
      8. B (it’s straight)

      Facial bones
      9. B/D (my jawline definitely isn’t sharp but it kind of narrows down as it comes to my chin so)
      10. E (It’s fairly small compared to my face and looks rounded in side profile)
      11. C/D (My cheekbones don’t stand out so maybe C but it reads as rounded in pictures)

      Flesh of the body
      12. C
      13. D
      14. D

      Facial features
      15. C
      16. E
      17. ? (C maybe)

Although it looks like I have a lot of C answers, I’m really not that proportional. I don’t read as graceful at first glance- it’s more of that appealing innocent essence that soft naturals have. I generally look damn good in SN lines, especially dresses and while I don’t look horrendous in soft classic clothes, I feel a little too boxed in you know? Like, I need more movement and flow in my outfits. It can’t be that tailored and plain. Like I can imagine wearing soft classic for special occasions, but I need that flow in my outfits. My style can best be described as “feminine but loose”. Like flowing dresses with a cardigan or jeans with a flowing and cute top. I’ve gotten results like soft dramatic (but I don’t look that intimidating you know), soft natural (which I like the best), and even flamboyant gamine (very few of my features line up with this image ID to the point I look too tall and too feminine for it if you know what I’m saying) as well as theatrical romantic (I’m not curve-dominant the first thing you’d notice about me is my kind of gently rounded physique with some curves but not as curvy as theatrical romantics). Soft classic worked for a bit, but I feel a little dainty in those clothes. Merriam Style said that to break the Kibbe rules, you ought to dress like a type that has some features in common with your image ID to exaggerate your daintiness or badassness. But Kibbe is about dressing like ~you~ so I think I’m a soft natural but a slender and thin one. What do you think?

      1. Thanks for commenting, Annaliese! Based on your results, I agree that you’re a Soft Natural. Here’s the link to my SN Pinterest board: https://www.pinterest.ca/cozyrebekah/soft-natural-kibbe-body-types-inspiration/

Soft Naturals and Soft Classics do have something in common, they both tend to be a moderate body type, so I can see why you’re trying to decide between them, but in my opinion, when you’re stuck in between two body types you should choose the one that has lines that you feel right in, so in your case, Soft Natural.

  23. Hello, I decided to try my hand at the test again, as I have been learning a lot more about myself. I am still not 100% sure if I am seeing myself accurately, but I would really appreciate your help. Here are my results:

    BONE STRUCTURE: 1.C, 2.B, 3.D, 4.B, 5.C, 6.A, 7.E, 8.B
    FACIAL STRUCTURE: 9. E, 10. C, 11.C
    FLESH: 12.D, 13.D, 14. B
    FACIAL FEATURES: 15. A, 16. D, 17. E

I am 5′ 4.5″ – I seem to look better in softer clothing with draping, than anything to stiff. I don’t seem to look good with shirts tucked in as it emphasises my short waist and long straight hips. Softly defined waist seem to look better on me. I seem to hold all my weight in my lower stomach, and my waist has widen with weight gain and age! Although the shape of my shoulders seems to be blunt it is also very delicate at the same time. My whole upper body seems to be delicate but I am not a pear, more like a rectangle shape.

Thanks for your time and help!

  24. Hi! I’ve been visiting your blog constantly to get inspirations and learn more on how to style my body. However, I’ve taken the tests multiple times using your blog as well as others to see if they matched. I got differing results and was hoping you would be able to help ^^ I got mixed results; usually getting a TR or SC, and once a SG. I feel conflicted as I’ve seen most TR moodboards showing alot of flesh, while I’m on the more conservative side. Also, I’m not sure if these details will help too, but I stand at 162 cm, with triangle/spoon body. (Bust 82, waist 70, hips 98)

I’m guessing I am a soft natural. I really love loose and flowing dresses on me. The only things I don’t seem to fit is having square or broad shoulders because mine are quite rounded and slender. Also, my contours are not irregular per se. I’ve been told I have a very pretty face with full lips. I also have been compared to Aishwarya Rai in the past who’s a SN. I also thought I was SD because of how thin my arms are and the fact that I seem to put on weight on my torso. But I’m not as tall and my face is very yin so I don’t think I have enough yang to make me a dramatic. A lot of my favorite dresses are long and flowing with a feminine twist to it. And that seems to fit SN to the t

7B/C/E?? This one kills me because my torso is wide, and it’s technically long since I’m so tall so that’s a B. But in proportion to my long legs it looks more like C. That said, I have the soft definition and width of an E.
    8D

9D It narrows visibly, that said it’s not very sharp.
10C/E?? In proportion to my face I’d say it’s neither big nor small, not wide nor narrow. But it is much more rounded than sharp.
11C While my cheekbones are moderate, my yin flesh can make them look quite rounded at my higher (not overweight) weights.

  37. Hi Rebekah, first thank you for all of your work in helping all of us ladies with different types, and each one as beautiful as the next. I’d like your expertise in helping me determine my type. Here are my answers

Bone Structure of the Body: ddcedede
    Facial Bones: cec
    Flesh of the Body: aee
    Facial Features: cce

    a = 1
    b = 0
    c = 5
    d = 4
    e = 7

My body description and how it appears: I’m right under 5’3 (160cm) and my measurements are 29-26-40 (73-66-101). My calves, thighs, and arms are fleshy and round. Small bust, small waist, small delicate hands, with a plump bottom. Gain weight rapidly and evenly. The extra weight falls off from top first. Gains most visible right away in my face as cheeks fill up and jaw line disappears. Relatively prominent collar bone and shoulders. I’m leaning towards theatrical romantic. What would be your assessment?

  38. Hi Rebekah!!
You’re so kind to help all of us, thank you!!
I was wondering if you could please help me also??? I have a very important question about my type because Ivwas always not sure if it was Romantic or TR? Thank you!

I got all solid Es and Ds on the test in body flesh and bone structure, all D-s except for 4 E-s with hands slightly wide E, prominent bust E, thigh flesh E, arm flesh E , all the rest is all D answers.

Then, for the facial bone and facial flesh sections where I got 3 A-s an A for nose, an A for cheekbones and an A ( or could be B) for cheek flesh and the rest- D for eyes , D for lips, D for jaw/chin.
    ——————-****

    So that’s– D- 10, E- 4, 3- A ( possibly 2 A then 1 B )
    —->>>>>**
My important question I wanted to know is — is this still able to be more Theatrical Romantic or is it R due to the lack of any A or sharp yang answers in body and all the A-s are in the face only? What does an almost solid D body mean with no A-s? To me, all D-s almost is like narrower R almost not sure if it’s the same as TR or R, Just wanted to more sure.

    Thank You!! ❤

  43. First of all I want to say that your blog is an incredible resource, and I want to thank you for all the work you do in helping people find their body types – your kindness and hard work do not go unappreciated I promise!

I always thought I was Romantic because I’m 5’2″, always been busty, and have a true hourglass (measurements are 37-27-37), but taking the test again and trying to be as objective as possible left me with Theatrical Romantic. Bones were BBDBEEEE, facial bones were DED, flesh was EDD, and facial features were EDE.

My boyfriend typed me as a Soft Classic – is it possible that he saw the slight yang in my bone structure and interpreted is as everything being balanced? Or have I been Soft Gamine all along and been completely wrong?

Thank you so much for any help you can give me.
